Submission of the Gazette Notification published under the Excise Ordinance for the approval of Parliamen

- The Ministry of Finance has taken necessary action for the implementation of the Foolproof Sticker and Sticker Management System as approved in the Budget 2016 and 2017, aimed at preventing the use of tax or duty unpaid liquor and enhancing the protection of excise revenue while deterring the counterfeits. Accordingly, the proposal made by the Minister of Finance to table the Excise Notification No.04/2019 published in the Extraordinary Gazette No.2128/30 dated 2019 06 20 in Parliament for approval, was approved by the Cabinet.
