Asian Development Bank (ADB) Funded Southern Road Connectivity Project Loan No.3027 SRI - The rehabilitation and improvement of the additional road sections utilizing the unallocated portion of the loan and savings

- The Asian Development Bank has provided a loan of US$ 75 million to meet the cost of the Southern Road Connectivity Project for the improvement of five national highways linking to three interchanges of the Southern Expressway. When the work intended to be completed under the said loan, it has been calculated that a balance sum of approximately US$ 4,300 million will be available in the loan. Accordingly, the proposal made by the Minister of Highways & Road Development and Petroleum Resources Development, to rehabilitate and improve additional road sections following the formal procedure and utilizing the said balance money, was approved by the Cabinet
