Construction of 02 silos for the storage of base raw materials for Thriposha productions

- The Sri Lanka Thriposha Limited possesses only a small silo with a capacity of 1200 metric tons at present for the purpose of storing raw materials necessary for Thriposha production. Accordingly, the proposal made by the Minister of Health, Nutrition & Indigenous Medicine to construct two silos with the capacity of 4000 metric tons each by utilizing the funds of Sri Lanka Thriposha Limited with a view to obtaining necessary storage facilities so as to store maize and soya beans when there is a surplus of same to maintain Thriposha and Suposha production continuously, was approved by the Cabinet.
