Establishment of the Integrated Treasury Management Information System (ITMIS) in the Government Ministries and Departments

- On the success of the 02 pilot projects implemented, it has been planned to establish the Integrated Treasury Management Information System (ITMIS) in all the Ministries, Departments, District Secretariats and Special Spending Agencies in place of the existing CIGAS system.
A software developed by the FreeBalance Inc. Company has been used in this system and any further enhancements and configuration changes that are needed during the use of this software could only be done through the said Company. Accordingly, the proposal made by the Minister of Finance, to appoint a Cabinet Appointed Procurement Committee (CAPC) and a Technical Evaluation Committee in order to establish the ITMIS system for every public institutions and to procure the said services from the FreeBalance Inc. Company, in accordance with the recommendations of the said Committees, was approved by the Cabinet.
