Award of the contract for the Supply, Delivery,Installation and Commissioning of 3 Transformers for the Kotugoda Grid Substation

- The proposal made by the Minister of Power, Energy and Business Development, to award the contract for the supply, delivery, installation and commissioning of 3 transformers to enhance the capacity of the Kotugoda Grid Substation to M/s TBEA Shenyang Transformer Group co. Ltd, of China, for a sum of US $ 2.6 million and Rs.2.5 million, as recommended by the Standing Cabinet Appointed Procurement Committee, was approved by the Cabinet.
