Procurement of Fertilizer - 2019 (July)

- The proposal made by the Minister of Agriculture, Rural Economic Affairs, Livestock Development, Irrigation and Fisheries & Aquatic Resources Development, to purchase 30,000 MT of Urea (Granular) at the rate of US$ 318.25 per MT from Agri Commodities & Finance, 3000 MT of Muriate of Potash at the rate of US$ 342.2 per MT from M/s Agricultural Resources & Investment PTE. Ltd. and 15,500 MT of Triple Super Phosphate at the rate of US$ 324 per MT from M/s Golden Barley International PTE. Ltd., for the purpose of fulfilling the fertilizer requirements of the Ceylon Fertilizer Company Limited and the Colombo Commercial Fertilizer Company Limited for the month of July, was approved by the Cabinet.
