Procurement of Container Boxes for the Transportation of Solid waste from Kelaniya to Aruwakkalu

- The proposal made by the Minister of Megapolis & Western Development to award the contract for the supply of Container Boxes necessary for the transportation of solid waste from Kelaniya to Aruwakkalu to M/s Dongfang Electric International Corporation, as recommended by the Standing Cabinet Appointed Procurement Committee, for the purpose of activating the municipal solid waste sanitary landfill disposal solution at Aruwakkalu with the objective of solving the municipal solid waste issue, which has emerged as a national issue, was approved by the Cabinet.
