Continuation of the 'Sukithapurawara'Township Development Programme and Appointment of consultants for Consultation Services of the new projects

- Approval of the Cabinet has been granted previously for the continuation of the projects commenced under the Sukithapurawara Township Development Programme but which have not been completed as yet. As such, the proposal made by Hon. Patali Champika Ranawaka, the Minister of Megapolis & Western Development, to make necessary facilities for the continuation of the projects which have been implemented under this project in the year 2017, such as construction of the Mahara Commercial Complex, design and construction of infrastructure facilities at Hatton Railway Station, improvement of the Manamendra Road at Awissawella, construction of the proposed building of Sumanakeerthi Maha Piriwena, building of Nalikaramaya at Meevitigammana, the underground cables of Sabaragamuwa Maha Saman Devalaya of Rathnapura, the Urban Park at Kawanthissa Wewa at Embilipitiya and the Public Market at Kalutara, providing sanitary facilities at Anuradhapura sacred city, development of infrastructure facilities at Mulative, preparation of the Kubichchikulama Wewa recreation area and the development of Kottawa Talagala Road and Kirimandala Mawatha, was approved by the Cabinet.
