Carrying out Major Overhaul essential for Engine No.02 of the Sapugaskanda Power Station

- The proposal made by Hon. Ravi Karunanayake, the Minister of Power, Energy and Business Development, to award the contract for the purchase of spare parts for the major overhaul of Engine No.02 of the Sapugaskanda Power Station to be performed in each 24,000 running hours for the proper operation of the generator sets of the said Station, to MAN Energy Solution of France, the original equipment manufacturer, for a sum of Euro 1.8 million, in accordance with the recommendations of the Standing Cabinet Appointed Procurement Committee, was approved by the Cabinet.
