Sri Lanka's Participation at EXPO Dubai 2020

- The World Expo is one of the most popular and large international exhibitions conducting once in every year, over a period of six months and it is scheduled to be held in Dubai in the year 2020. As such, considering the fact that participation in this exhibition will lead the way to develop trade, market share and business and provide opportunities to promote direct foreign investment, sharing technologies, information technology, transport, tourism industry and other services while enhancing the country's image and showing its abilities, the proposal made by Hon. Malik Samarawickrama, Minister of Development Strategies and International Trade to secure the required provisions to attend this exhibition and to provide other necessary facilities for the purpose, was approved by the Cabinet.
