Provision of Tablet Computers to the Advanced Level (A/L) Students and the Teachers

- A proposal had been made in the Budget 2017 to provide tablet computers to the students who follow the Advanced Level Classes and their teachers to promote the qualitative aspects of their educational activities. Accordingly, the proposal made by Hon. Akila Viraj Kariyawasam, the Minister of Education to provide tablet computers to the students who have gained admission to Grade 12 in the year 2019 and as well as the Teachers who teach the relevant subjects, was approved by the Cabinet.
