Memorandum of Understanding between the Government of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka and the Government of the Republic of El Salvador on visa exemption for Diplomatic and Official Passport holders

- The proposal made by Hon. Wajira Abeywardena, the Minister of Internal & Home Affairs and Provincial Councils & Local Government for the proposed Memorandum of Understanding to be entered into between Sri Lanka and the Republic of El Salvador for the objectives of facilitating the citizens of both countries mutually for their traveling purposes, simplifying the relevant procedure and visa exemption of diplomatic and official passports holders with a view to strengthening the friendly relation between the two countries and allowing the said tourists entering into the country to stay for a period of 30 days in the territory without visa, was approved by the Cabinet.
