Awarding a financial donation of US$ 50,000 to the Republic of Cuba for rebuilding a village affected due to a tornado

- The proposal made by Hon. Thilak Marapana, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, to donate an amount of US$ 50,000.00 to the Government of Cuba to rebuild a village situated in the municipality of Regla in Havana destroyed by the tornado that swept Cuba in January this year, as a token of solidarity and to commemorate the 60th anniversary of establishing diplomatic ties between Sri Lanka and Cuba, was approved by the Cabinet.
