The proposed New Laws on Occupational Safety, Employee Health and Welfare

- The proposal made by H.E. the President Maithripala Sirisena, at the request of the Non‑Cabinet Minister of Labour and Trade Union Relations, to refer the draft on Laws on Occupational Safety, Employee Health and Welfare, prepared by the Committee appointed by the then Minister of Labour and Manpower with the technical assistance of the International Labour Organization, to the Legal Draftsman to make it a draft Bill, containing the subsequent amendments made thereto, was approved by the Cabinet.
