Improvement of the Sanitary Facilities in the Bus Terminals and the Railway Stations

- By the Budget of 2019 it had been proposed to improve the basic sanitary facilities in the bus terminals and the railway stations inclusive of the infrastructure facilities since such adequate facilities are not available in such places. Accordingly, the proposal made by Hon. Mangala Samaraweera, the Minister of Finance to accelerate the implementation of the this project having identified the common places where the sanitary facilities should be improved with the coordination of the Ministry of Transport & Civil Aviation, the Ministry of Housing, Construction and Cultural Affairs and the Ministry of Finance, was approved by the Cabinet.
