Issuance of International Sovereign Bonds 2019

- The proposal made by Hon. Mangala Samaraweera, the Minister of Finance, to secure funds up to US$ 1,500 million by the issuance of International Sovereign Bonds, initiating action within the approved borrowing limit for the year 2019, by also taking into consideration the international market conditions, was approved by the Cabinet.
