Proclamation of the Proscribed Organizations

- H.E. the President Maithripala Sirisena, notified the Cabinet that steps have been taken to proscribe the organizations namely, the National Thowheed Jama'ath Organization, the Jama'athe Milla'athe Ibrahim and Willayath As Seylani, in order to ensure the National Security due to the threat caused to the country's security as a result of the recent terror attacks and that the Gazette (Extraordinary) Notification No.2123/2 of 2019-05-13 has been published in respect of same, by virtue of the powers vested with the President.
