Entering into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the University of Colombo and the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) of the United Kingdom

- It has been proposed to enter into an MoU between the University of Colombo and the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA), the United Kingdom with a view to developing educational cooperation in the higher education sector. Entering into this Agreement will enable to facilitate the students of the University of Colombo for pursuing courses at the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants, improve the quality of the Management Accounting Courses of the University of Colombo and enhance the cooperation between the University of Colombo and the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants. Accordingly, the proposal made by Hon. Rauff Hakeem, the Minister of City Planning, Water Supply and Higher Education to enter into an MoU between the University of Colombo and the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) of the United Kingdom, was approved by the Cabinet.
