Report of the Expert Committee appointed by H.E. the President on Restructuring SriLankan Airlines

- An Expert Committee was appointed by H.E. the President with the Chairmanship of Hon. Eran Wickremaratna, the State Minister of Finance for obtaining recommendations for the restructuring of the SriLankan Airlines and the said Committee has submitted a Report containing policy recommendations in that regard. The Committee has made recommendations in respect of the financial restructuring of the SriLankan Airlines, corporate restructuring, preparation of an effective Strategical Plan and Operating Business Model, human resource restructuring, ensuring of an independent procurement process, and exploiting Synergies in Brand Promotion. Accordingly, the proposal made by H.E. the President, Maithripala Sirisena, for the expeditious implementation of the proposed recommendations, was approved by the Cabinet.
