Development of the student facilities of the Uva Wellassa University of Sri Lanka and the Sri Lanka University of Ruhuna

- The proposal made by Hon. Rauff Hakeem, the Minister of City Planning, Water Supply and Higher Education, to award the contract for the construction of the library building of the Uva Wellassa University under Phase II of the project for the development of infrastructure facilities of the Uva Wellassa University to M/s Darinton Construction (Pvt.) Ltd., for a sum of Rs.384.2 million, to award the contract for the construction of the Three Storey Lecture Hall building with furniture for the Faculty of Technology of the University of Ruhuna to M/s Central Engineering (Pvt.) Ltd., for a sum of Rs.337.8 million and to award the contract for the construction of the South Center for Naval Studies and Shipping with equipment of the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Ruhuna to M/s Central Engineering (Pvt.) Ltd., for a sum of Rs.436.3 million, in accordance with the recommendations of the Standing Cabinet Appointed Procurement Committee (SCAPC), was approved by the Cabinet.
