Establishment of a new Tri-lingual Mixed National School in the Mirigama Area

- It has been planned to establish a new fully fledged National School in an extent of 20 acres of the land called Dansele Watta located in the Minuwangoda area with a view to providing qualitative educational opportunities for the children living in the areas adjustment to Gampaha which is developing rapidly. Accordingly, the proposal made by Hon. Akila Viraj Kariyawasam, the Minister of Education, to establish the proposed new school consisting of six parallel classes for each grade as a school where tri-lingual education could be had, was approved by the Cabinet.
