Provision of Uninterrupted Power Supply

- The proposal made by Hon. Mangala Samaraweera, the Minister of Finance, to appoint a committee under the chairmanship of Hon. Prime Minister and comprising of the Ministers of Finance; Power, Energy and Business Development; Highways & Road Development and Petroleum Resources Development; and Ports & Shipping and Southern Development to submit recommendations on the short term, medium term and long term measures that should be taken to solve the present power crisis, was approved by the Cabinet.
