Construction of four storey building for the Postgraduate Institute of Pali and Buddhist Studies of the University of Kelaniya

- It has been proposed to construct a four storey building for the Postgraduate Institute of Pali and Buddhist Studies which was commenced in the year 1975 affiliated to the University of Kelaniya, for the purpose of providing sufficient space. Accordingly, the proposal made by Hon. Rauff Hakeem, the Minister of City Planning, Water Supply and Higher Education, to award the construction activities of its first Stage to M/s Sathuta Builders (Pvt.) Ltd, for a sum of Rs.393 million, as recommended by the Standing Cabinet Appointed Procurement Committee, was approved by the Cabinet.
