Entering into a Memorandum of Understanding between the National Institute of Labour Studies (NILS) and the Shandong Foreign Trade Vocational College in China

- The National Institute of Labour Studies which carries out educational programmes with the coordination of local and foreign educational institutes, conducts diploma and certificate courses, workshops and research in the field of labour for the labour force promoting educational activities among them.

The Shandong Foreign Trade Vocational College of China which conducts courses on International Bussiness Studies and Human Resources Development has extended its willingness to conduct short term courses for the students of NILS on concessionary basis. As such, the proposal made by H.E. the President Maithripala Sirisena, to enter into a Memorandum of Understanding with the Shandong Foreign Trade Vocational College of China on implementing short term foreign training courses for selected students on concessionary basis, was approved by the Cabinet.
