Procurement of Fertilizer required for the month of May 2019

- The proposal made by Hon. P. Harison, the Minister of Agriculture, Rural Economic Affairs, Livestock Development, Irrigation and Fisheries & Aquatic Resources Development, to procure 8,000 MT of Urea at the rate of US$ 302.54 per MT, 8,900 MT of Muriate of Potash at the rate of US$ 343.74 per MT, 2,000 MT of Muriate of Potash (Red/Pinkish) at the rate of US$ 343.74 per MT, to meet the chemical fertilizer requirement of the Ceylon Fertilizer Company Ltd. and the Colombo Commercial Fertilizer Company Ltd. for the month of May 2019, from M/s Valency International Trading Pte. Ltd., in accordance with the recommendation of the Standing Cabinet Appointed Procurement Committee (SCAPC), was approved by the Cabinet.
