Updating of the Wakf Act No.51 of 1982 according to the timely needs

- The proposal made by Hon. M.H.A. Haleem, Minister of Postal Services & Muslim Religious Affairs to appoint an experts committee and provide facilities to consider the amendments required to be made to the existing Wakf Act according to the needs of the time for the smooth functioning of the Wakf Board and Wakfs Tribunal and to provide the necessary legal guidance to solve the issues and disputes pertaining to the Mosques and the administration of the Muslim Trusts, located countrywide, was approved by the Cabinet.
