Entering into an Agreement between Sri Lanka and Pakistan on the exchange of Sugarcane Breeding Materials

- The proposal made by Hon. Navin Dissanayake, the Minister of Plantation Industries to enter into an Agreement, between the Sugarcane Research Institute of Sri Lanka and the Sugarcane Research and Development Board and the Sugarcane Research Institute of Faisalabad in Pakistan, taking into consideration, the benefits that could be accrued by both countries mutually by the exchange of sugarcane breeding materials, was approved by the Cabinet.
