Construction of a Housing Project for Middle income families in the Ceremonial Drive at Rajagiriya

- The Government has initiated a project to provide 500,000 housing units for the Middle income families inclusive of the Public and Private sector employees at an affordable price. Accordingly, the proposal made by Hon. Patali Champika Ranawaka, the Minister of Megapolis & Western Development to implement a housing project with 177 units and other facilities for Middle income earners in the Ceremonial Drive at Rajagiriya, on the basis of Public Private Partnership, was approved by the Cabinet.
