Updating of the Foreign Exchange Act, No.12 of 2017

- The proposal made by Hon. Mangala Samaraweera, the Minister of Finance to amend the Foreign Exchange Act, No.12 of 2017, updating it by incorporating the necessary regulations and the provisions, in order to strengthen the intervention of the Central Bank of Sri Lanka when implementing the Foreign Exchange Act, with a view to ensuring an effective Foreign Exchange Management within Sri Lanka and to effect the regulatory functions in that regard, was approved by the Cabinet.
