Conducting a Forensic Audit in the entities regulated and supervised by the Central Bank of Sri Lanka

- Taking into consideration the recommendations made relating to the Central Bank of Sri Lanka in the report submitted by the Presidential Commission of Inquiry appointed by H.E the President to Investigate and Inquire into and Report on the process of decision making over the Issuance of Treasury Bonds, the Central Bank of Sri Lanka has decided to conduct a forensic audit with regard to the matters pointed out by the said Commission. Accordingly, the proposal made by Hon.Mangala Samaraweera, the Minister of Finance to procure the service of a suitable entity with international experience for the purpose, was approved by the Cabinet.
