Let's Protect Children - National Trust Fund

- Persons and Organizations come forward voluntarily to provide the necessary assistance to children who have fallen into misery due to numerous social problems, in‑born injuries and those sustained subsequently, diseases and negligence and unawareness of parents and as such, it has become a timely need for setting up of an institutional structure which could accept their donations in a responsible and a legally acceptable manner. As such, the proposal made by H.E. the President Maithripala Sirisena, to establish 'Let's Protect Children - National Trust Fund' under the Chairmanship of the Secretary to the President, was approved by the Cabinet.
