Purchasing of drugs required for the treatment of diabetic patients

- The proposal made by Hon. (Dr.) Rajitha Senaratne, the Minister of Health, Nutrition & Indigenous Medicine, to award the procurement for the supply of 850,000 Vials of Biphasic Isophane Insulin 10 ml Injection used for the treatment of diabetic patients, to M/s Gulf Pharmaceutical Industries of the Kingdom of the United Arab Emirates for a sum of US$ 1,317,500, as recommended by the Standing Cabinet Appointed Procurement Committee (SCAPC), was approved by the Cabinet.
