Purchasing of drugs required for the treatment of Haemophilia patients

- The proposal made by Hon. (Dr.) Rajitha Senaratne, the Minister of Health, Nutrition & Indigenous Medicine, to award the procurement for the supply of 52,000 Vials of Concentrated Monoclonal Purified and Detergent Treated Dried Factor required for the treatment of haemophilia patients, to M/s Baxalta GmbH of Switzerland for a sum of US$ 3,172,000, as recommended by the Standing Cabinet Appointed Procurement Committee (SCAPC), was approved by the Cabinet.
