Purchasing of Coal required for the Coal Power Plant in Puttalam

- The proposal made by Hon. Ravi Karunanayake, the Minister of Power, Energy and Business Development, to award the contract for the purchase of MT 360,000 of coal required for the Coal Power Plant in Puttalam to M/s Trafigura Pte. Ltd. in Singapore at a price of US$ 91.40 per Metric Ton, as recommended by the Special Standing Cabinet Appointed Procurement Committee, was approved by the Cabinet.
