The contract for obtaining expertise manpower services for the maintenance of the Boiler, Turbine and Auxiliaries of Unit 03 of the Lakvijaya Power Plant in Puttalam

- The 'Technical Cooperation Agreement for Overhaul Support' between the China Machinery Engineering Corporation, the main contractor for the construction of the Puttalam Coal Power Plant and the Sri Lanka Electricity Board is valid till the end of September 2019. Accordingly, the proposal made by Hon. Ravi Karunanayake, the Minister of Power, Energy and Business Development, to award the contract for the maintenance of the Boiler, Turbine and Auxiliaries of Unit 03 of the Lakvijaya Power Plant in Puttalam to the China Machinery Engineering Corporation, as recommended by the Standing Cabinet Appointed Procurement Committee (SCAPC), was approved by the Cabinet.
