Draft of the Land (Special Provisions) Bill

- The Land (Special Provisions) Bill has been drafted incorporating necessary provisions to grant absolute title to state lands held to persons who are holders of Grants or Instruments of Disposition in respect of such lands and the proposal made by Hon. Gayantha Karunathilaka, the Minister of Lands and Parliamentary Reforms, to publish the said Bill in the Government Gazette and thereafter, present the same in Parliament, was approved by the Cabinet.
