Reconstitution of an Inter-Ministerial Committee in accordance with the provisions of the Information and Communication Act No.27 of 2003

- Provisions required to constitute an Inter-Ministerial Committee to advise the Government in policy formulation pertaining to information technology under the Information and Communication Act No.27 of 2003, are in operation. Accordingly, the proposal made by H.E. the President Maithripala Sirisena, on the request of the Non‑Cabinet Minister of Digital Infrastructure and Information Technology for appointing a Committee comprising of 17 persons including Cabinet Ministers, Non-Cabinet Ministers, State Ministers and Government Officers and reconstitute the same so as to suit the present needs, was approved by the Cabinet.
