Revamping of Currency Operations at the Central Bank of Sri Lanka

- It has been found necessary to revamp the existing currency processing capacity of the Central Bank of Sri Lanka due to the increasing trends in currency in circulation within Sri lanka. As such the proposal made by Hon.Mangala Samaraweera, the Minister of Finance & Mass Media, to implement the project for revamping of currency operations at the Central Bank of Sri Lanka to be implemented for the purpose, was approved by the Cabinet.
