National Programme on the Prevention of Chronic Kidney Disease - 2019

- The Presidential Task Force on the prevention of Chronic Kidney Disease was established for the prevention of the Chronic Kidney Disease reported from various areas of the Island and in line with it, the programmes for prevention of Chronic Kidney Disease were implemented by adopting an integrated approach enlisting the participation of various Ministries and Departments. In order to further achieve the targets, it has been planned to implement this programme in the year 2019 as well and an Action Plan has also been prepared for the purpose. Accordingly, the proposal made by H.E. the President Maithripala Sirisena, to secure the funds necessary for the implementation of this Annual Action Plan, was approved by the Cabinet.
