Procurement for the Construction of Buildings for the Outdoor Patients Division, Laboratory, Radiology Unit and Wards at the National Institute of Infectious Diseases (IDH) in Angoda

- It has been planned to develop the National Institute of Infectious Diseases in Angoda as a state‑of‑the‑art centre which conducts treatment of infectious diseases and training and research activities. In this context, it is proposed to develop it as a Health Service Centre of Excellence with an Outdoor Patient Division, Wards, Clinics, Laboratories and facilities for Radiological diagnosis facilities. Accordingly, the proposal made by Hon. (Dr.) Rajitha Senaratne, the Minister of Health, Nutrition & Indigenous Medicine, to award the Procurement to construct buildings for the Outdoor Patients Division (OPD), Laboratory, Radiology Unit and Wards at the National Institute of Infectious Diseases in Angoda to M/s George Steuart Engineering (Pvt.) Ltd., as recommended by the Procurement Appeal Board, was approved by the Cabinet.
