Awarding of the Contract regarding the Supply of Liquefied Petroleum Gas for the year 2019/2020 to the Litro Gas Lanka Limited

- The Litro Gas Lanka Limited is a Government owned company which owns a 70% market share of the Island's Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG), engaged in importing, storing, filling, marketing and selling LPG. Accordingly, the proposal made by Hon. Mangala Samaraweera, the Minister of Finance & Mass Media to award the contract for the procurement of 350,000 MT of LPG as to M/s Oman Trading International Ltd. for the said company to fulfill the country's market needs, as recommended by the Cabinet Appointed Procurement Committee (CAPC), was approved by the Cabinet.
