Implementation of the National Action Plan for Combating Corruption

- The Cabinet has granted approval previously to formulate a National Action Plan to eradicate corruption, considering the necessity for the implementation of a National Plan applicable in general in regard to all Public Sector Institutions as well as the other institutions for combating bribery and corruption. Accordingly, the proposal made by H.E. the President Maithripala Sirisena, to implement the National Action Plan, during the period of 2019‑2023, formulated for combating bribery and corruption, taking into consideration the views and proposals of all relevant stakeholders, was approved by the Cabinet.
