Improvement of the Horana - Padukka and Habarana - Valachchenai Transmission Network

- The proposal made by Hon. Ravi Karunanayake, the Minister of Power, Energy and Business Development, to award the contracts for the construction of the Transmission Line of 25 km in length between Horana and Padukka and the Second Circuit Stringing of the Habarana - Valachchenai transmission network, under the Green Power Development and Energy Efficiency Improvement Investment Programme implemented for the strengthening of the transmission network of the Ceylon Electricity Board, to M/s China National Electric Engineering Co. Ltd., was approved by the Cabinet.
