Providing facilities to improve the productivity of the Tea and Coconut Smallholder Sectors

- It has been observed that the contribution made by the Tea and Coconut smallholder Sectors to the total tea and coconut production towards the sectors is being increased during the past few years and it has also been identified that there is a tendency for further increasing the said contribution. As such, the proposal made by Hon. Navin Dissanayake, the Minister of Plantation Industries to allocate the funds required to increase the productivity of Tea and Coconut smallholder Sector, was approved by the Cabinet.
