Setting up of a Picture Archival and Communication System (PACS) and a Radiology Information System (RIS) for 20 Government Hospitals in Sri Lanka

- The proposal made by Hon.(Dr.) Rajitha Senaratne, the Minister of Health, Nutrition & Indigenous Medicine, to award the contract for setting up of a Picture Archival and Communication System (PACS) and a Radiology Information System (RIS) for 20 Government Hospitals in Sri Lanka to conserve and store all information of the patients and helpful for accurate diagnosis for providing treatments enabling to magnify the digital ragiological images while spending less time and money, to M/s REDtone MEX sdn Bhd institution in Malaysia, as recommended by the Cabinet Appointed Negotiation Committee, was approved by the Cabinet.
