Procurement for the Construction of a Water Tower with the capacity of 1500m3, laying of water pipes and for fittings for the transmission and distribution mains in the Belummahara Area

- The contract for the implementation of the Gampaha, Attanagalla and Minuwangoda Integrated Water Supply Scheme has been awarded to M/s China Machinery Engineering Corporation and an agreement has been reached for sub‑contracts of 08 projects pertaining to the same. Accordingly, the proposal made by Hon. Rauff Hakeem, the Minister of City Planning, Water Supply and Higher Education, to award the contract for the construction of a water tower with a capacity of 1,500m3, laying of water pipes and for fittings for the transmission and distribution mains in the Belummahara area which is a sub‑contract of the same, to M/s Sanken Construction (Pvt.) Ltd., as recommended by the Standing Cabinet Appointed Procurement Committee (SCAPC), was approved by the Cabinet.
