Completion of the remaining construction activities of the proposed five storey building for the District Secretariat Matale

- Approval of the Cabinet has been granted previously for the construction of a five storey building for the District Secretariat, Matale and its construction activities are nearing completion. Accordingly, the proposal made by Hon.Vajira Abeywardena, the Minister of Internal & Home Affairs and Provincial Councils & Local Government to award the contract for the additional work to be carried out for the utilization of the building such as supply of electricity, installation of communication system and fire safety systems and internal partitioning to the original contractor, M/s Micro Constructions (Pvt) Ltd, as recommended by the Standing Cabinet Appointed Procurement Committee, was approved by the Cabinet.
