Renovation of the Panadura Base Hospital and Procurement of Medical Equipment

- The proposal made by Hon.(Dr.) Rajitha Senaratne, the Minister of Health, Nutrition & Indigenous Medicine, to award the contract for the construction of a six storied building for the Base Hospital of Panadura, construction of staff quarters and construction of a waste water treatment plant and the supply of medical and other equipment required for the hospital, to M/s GITEC-IGIP GmbH of Germany at a sum of Euro 106.49 million, as recommended by the Standing Cabinet Appointed Procurement Committee, was approved by the Cabinet.
