Vote on Account - 2019

- Approval of the Cabinet has been granted previously, to present a Vote on Account to secure the provision necessary for the first 04 months of the year, 2019. Accordingly, the proposal made by Hon. Mahinda Rajapaksa, the Prime Minister in his capacity as the Minister of Finance and Economic Affairs, to present a resolution in Parliament (Vote on Account) to incur a total expenditure of Rs.1,735 billion made up of Rs.760 billion to maintain the Public Services of the Government, Rs.970 billion for providing services already authorized by various laws and Rs.5 billion for the Advanced Account Activities until an Appropriation Bill for the year 2019 is submitted, was approved by the Cabinet.
