Incurring the Government expenditure for the first four months of the year 2019

- Since there is inadequate time to present the Budget for the year 2019 due to the recent shuffles in the composition of the Ministries, the proposal made by Hon. Mahinda Rajapaksa, the Prime Minister in his capacity as the Minister of Finance and Economic Affairs, to secure the budgetary provisions required to maintain the Government services uninterruptedly for the first four months of the year 2019 through a Vote on Account in compliance with the precedence followed in similar situations, until the Budget for the year 2019 is passed and to instruct the Legal Draftsman to draft the resolution in this regard, was approved by the Cabinet.
